WOW. PSB r back!!!! This is amazing. Once pioneers in the blossoming world of 80's synth pop these guys aren't just still standing, they're still on top. Great set of mixes here. This disc is multi flavored, a lil something for everyone. Totally luvin' the work from Kurd Maverick - both the main and the dub. Great nrg. Relentlessly so. Killer synth riffs. Great beats. Agreed, good stuff. Of course the 6:17 PSB mix is the sparkling diamond of the single. The dance floor will tell the final story for Love Etc. Buy this. 03/19/2009

Michael M has always gotten radio and dance floor play in Austin be it for the str8z or the gays. He seems to be able to cross over between the 2 scenes without any problem, appealing to a much more broader audience than many other dance artists. This package is awesome. Two of his biggest hits together on one disc. And the newer mixes kick ass. Nice twists. Even if you have the classic Da Freeks mixes already, this release is a must have. Diggin those Guido mixes but duh, G can do no wrong. I like it! Buy this record. 03/19/2009

Let me start by saying - you need to check out the original version of Fade To Grey that was first released by a British band called Visage featuring fashion icon and front man Steve Strange and backed by the talents of the clever Midge Ure of Ultravox fame. Fade To Grey was and is an awesome synth based classic and at the time was considered to be quite brilliant. A new vibe, sorta. This song first came out in the late early 80's on a 4 song ep that also included the Visage songs Tar & We Move. Good stufff! Steve Strange was sitting on a bed of red pillows in a tent with a fluffly outfit and a red scarf around his head if I remember correctly. That said about the original, for an Almighty cover - this new version by Castro Boy ain't all that bad. They bumped up the nrg and bpm yet still managed to keep the key hooks of the original intact - the bass line, the synth strings, the harpsicord, etc. Some of the more fun additions include the tribal toms and the fun builds. This one doesn't seem to be a possiblr floor filler but like I said, not bad at all. I'll buy it. 01/22/2009

What a great release! This song has a very catchy memorable chorus with a lot of energy. I would call it a solid 5 star release. The Mike Cruz mix seems to be the one with the most commercial appeal - it's got some killer drums and a tight groove that just doesn't stop! Reminds me of some of Jody Den Broader's better work. I've already seen the Cruz mix work fabulously on dance floors in both Austin and Houston where it was very well recieved. I love the Julian Marsh mix too - gotz a great mellow Sunday afternoon house vibe going down. Also diggin the Discosynthetic and David Shaw mixes. Honestly, the clips don't do this track justice. The disc sounds way better. To hell with all tha h8trz! All they know how to do is dis and h8. Awesome job Jacinta! 10/10/2008

Does anyone remember E.G. Daily in the movies Vally Girl or Pee Wee's Big Adventure? Ha ha! That was like eons ago. What a relic. Not a bad single at all for a gal who's been around since the 70's. Very programmable. I give it 3 out of 5 stars. It's fun, but I I think it's shelf life will be short lived. Though one never knows.... 06/19/2008

This is an absolutely amazing song. It's no wonder it was the number one breakout track on the Billboard dance chart. Can not wait for the second single with all of the Dave Aude and Francis Preve mixes to come out in June! The Josh Harris mix is pretty mainstream and works very well on a floor at any point. The big suprise was the incredible peak response I got when I played the Vicious & Escape mix. It was, a moment. Yum! I hope all of you buy this recording.
Jacinta is a bad ass. We love her!
And to the guy who says he had the Moran mix for a while - the only way you could have had a copy of this before it was released here was as a promo from Jacinta hersel or by illegally downloading it. Illegally downloading music before it is released and even after is so tacky and uncool and hurts the not just the artist but everyone involved as well - including Perfectbeat.
Keep dance music alive by buying it folks! And definately buy this single. It's quite fab. 05/10/2007

Ha ha ha!
Well put JR.
And I will add that Robin S did the old classic hit Show Me Love, not Robyn. How one can confuse the two is beyond me. 4 real yo. But there are still idiots out there that think house is techno and hip hop is dance music.
This Rakamonie EP is some fun music. I like it. I'm buying it. Of course I'm not choking on a bitter pill so I am able to actually get it. 11/23/2006

This track rox!! This gurl rox!! Just like Jacinta, her album Smokescreen is super hot.
I have been playiing Sunshine since it's release in October and it has quickly become a regular hot spot in my sets. My favorite mix is the Peter Presta mix. 2nd fave is the DJ Blaine Meets Hefty Lefty Mix. The Tony Moran and Warren Rigg mix is ok but not preffered by me or my crowd. The Budz edit is great if you are doing that kind of set - it is short, sweet, and to the point.
BUY THIS TRACK!!! You won't regret it.

From the January 2006 issue of Shout magazine in Teaxas: "This month’s mix cd hot pick comes to us from the super talented east coast based producer, songwriter, remixer, programmer and engineer Giuseppe D. He has remixed hits by artists like Lenny B, Eamon, Judy Torres, Oscar G, and Georgie Porgie. This thumpin’ nonstop groove, titled Evolutions, is fabulously relentless! Evolutions is a flawlessly executed party disc with a true old skool nrg flair in its smooth blending of today’s latest sounds. It is packed full of hits too! Michael M. Paul Lekakis. Next Level. Corona. You can listen to Giuseppe D.’s traxx and learn more by checking out www.myspace.com/giusepped as well as his official site, www.hotheadprod.com. You can buy the disc Evolutions at www.perfectbeat.com and many other online retailers." 01/05/2006

I am a huge Jacinta fan! It is awesome to see her in the mix. 11/18/2005

I think most of the mixes suck and are not dance floor friendly. Very big let down after 8 Easy Steps. Even the Baez mix isn't all that. But that's just my opinion. 11/18/2005

The Sander mix is ok. It works. But the Guetta mix is off tha hook! Takes some thinking as to how to work it in but is well worth the effort. The Sweet Dreams remix is a completely fierce. I play it early to pave the way for the new one later on. It seems that these younger kids are not totally familiar with Annie's voice. I don't know why.... 11/18/2005

This one is simply ok. The mixes do not live up to the potential. My dance floor agrees. 11/18/2005

I agree with SA. It is pretty good. Sadly, this record is joining that list of way over played tracks. It will be on every cheese compiled cd for years to come. From the radio to the club to the tv. It is nice to have a new version to play. They really don't know it's not PCD! 11/18/2005

I think this is a stupid release. And rather pointless. Seems like someone is just trying to make some $ off of Madonna's comeback. Can't say I really blame them though. Not bad overall. But not great. 11/18/2005

After all those mixes of Shout that came out on the web and for sale, as well as the remixes of the new material - this one (even though it is a cover) totally hits the mark! It easily fits into multible formats and is easy to work with. And duh! It is a total and complete crowd pleaser. It's familiarity will get your crowd grooving and totally prep them for that super cute new Madonna track. Dub to vocal to dub.... 4 now... Everybody Wants To Rule The World is worth every penny! Buy this record yo! 10/21/2005

This record kicks ass! Much more upbeat for than the Harry Peat mix from the single. Not an anthem like Sunrise, but great just the same. The vynil of course is a fan must have. Been playing it for a while now - packs the floor in my little ole queer bar in Austin, Texas! 07/14/2005
