I can't understand why anyone would insult this "classic" nbr 1 dance hit? "Boom Boom" went to the top of the dance charts the minute it was released and stayed there for 6 weeks. Obviously, the instant popularity of the song speaks for itself. This is and always be one of the few timeless dance classics that will ALWAYS be played! Okay, this must be karmic payback for my slam of the Right Said Fred "I'm Too Sexy" remixes a couple weeks ago. This is really good!  I have to agree with C.V. (5/24), the Giuseppe D. Retro Rework mix(130 BPM) is the one to spin. How do you update this 1987 ZYX single? Should it be updated to begin with? It would be like updating Divine, early Kylie or other SAW productions. They had a sound that is really far from todays circuit and house sounds. Some things should be left alone. Ok, the Luigie/Finbarr mixes are definitely the best, but dear god even back then it was still a Dead or Alive knockoff with a porn star, and Pete Burns, god bless his puffy lips, did it a million times better and with more personality.
