The lyrics are very simple but to the point. Great voice and the remixes are very dark and love them all. I have no problem with long mixes. Love it..... (p.s., 7/4/2008 see all my reviews >> )
If not for Midnight Society's amazing remix, this would basically sound like "Party People, part 2", but their remix adds a very sexy, dark element which works incredibly well with this track. DJ Mark Bisson (M.B., 3/7/2008 see all my reviews >> )

Don't we all love Miss Tracy? Altar guys are from Brazil and they are the ONLY ones to enter on Billboard Top 10 DANCE with their previous single PARTY PEOPLE. 5 stars (a.m., 2/21/2008 see all my reviews >> )
The Inimitable Legendary Diva Jeanie Tracy Teams Up Once Again With The Altar Boys & Turns It Out...BIG TIME!
I Always Look Forward To Her Releases...Its An Occasion! And She Never Fails To Deliver.Nice Selection Of Mixes
My Personal Faves Are Altars Original.Rosabel Peak Hour Vocal...(The More Of Jeanies Vocals The Better As Far As Im Concerned!!!)And Lovin Alex Cohens Cha Cha Cha... (m.c., 2/21/2008 see all my reviews >> )
Manny Lehman is a total joke as a remixer, but Rosabel rocks this song!!!! (Joey Benitez, 2/21/2008 see all my reviews >> )
I just bought TWO copies of this amazing CD single, mainly because of the anthemic Rosabel Peak Hour Mix of "Everybody Up" and diva Jeanie Tracy's powerful vocals. Yes, it really is that good! Buy it. (W.A., 2/21/2008 see all my reviews >> )
the lyrics are retarded and hokey..."people over here, people over there, party party party people everywhere"..??? am i in kindergarten or watching an episode of Yo Gabba Gabba? Anyhoo.. musically I'm really diggin the Alex Cohen mix. Having a dub of it would be fantastic...but alas it is not contained herein. The Manny Lehman remix is formulaic and cheap sounding. The Rosabel mix is also formulaic but holds my interest far more than Lehman's. www.erx.dj (www.erx.dj, 3/1/2008 see all my reviews >> )
Ilike midnight's sound much more then the others, I could play that one on the dance floor and every one would be dancing. How ever I do find some of them to long and boring Jeanie Tracy has done much better in the past (Ken N., 3/4/2008 see all my reviews >> )
Now I call a great vocal and good dance energy remixes. For me, just one little problem, some of the good remixes here are too long for my dance floor -- DJ X. (P.H., 3/2/2008 see all my reviews >> )
"Party People" was a much stronger track. It's a shame too because Jeanie rarely disappoints but I don't think the formula here helped. It does sound dated. But as reliable filler, sandwiched between larger anthems, I think it plays nicely. --dj mark marquis (M.M., 3/1/2008 see all my reviews >> )
Yes, this release has the "circuit" sound that most seem to love on this site and Jeanie is yelling at the boys on the floor, but in my opinion the release isn't the great. There is a lot of good house out there right now so why play this? All remixes are mediocre and IMO are just OK. I'm not sure what all the fuss is about Rosabel's mix. It sounds like their normal production and may be a little more melodic than Manny Lehman's but sounds very similar to his. Not much of difference at all. (E.M., 2/21/2008 see all my reviews >> )
I can't believed they even let Manny Lehman remix this song.WHY? thank GOD! there are other mixes to play for the dance floor. (P.I., 2/21/2008 see all my reviews >> )
I love Jeannie Tracy too, but this is just so predictable. I feel like I've I've already heard it a million times before. Whoever wrote this needs to find something a bit more novel: divas have been screaming at the crowd to get up, dance and throw their hands in the air forever. Ms. Tracy deserves a song worthy of her. This isn't it. (r.p., 2/28/2008 see all my reviews >> )
Hmmmm... As much as they would like to think so, Altar weren't the only Brazilian producers who have cracked the Billboard charts... FC Nond, Edson Pride and Ranny, just to name a few, also have had -dare I say- much more success. I loved Party People, HATED "Sound of Your Voice" (with some woman who could barely speak english) and "Everybody Up" is just ok for me. The vocals are not really that exciting, even though I love you, Ms. Tracy! If it wasn't for Rosabel, this song would be a total waste of Jeanie's time! (R.Z., 2/21/2008 see all my reviews >> )
Please make it stop. This is the same formula used from Lets Get The Party Jumpin 10 years sgo. Please I am begging you make it stop. (tony, 5/10/2008 see all my reviews >> )
OK...complete honesty. This sucks! Haven't we heard enough of the "Diva" stuff. Besides the lyrics a 5 yr old could make up. (M.R., 3/29/2008 see all my reviews >> )
