Oh, I love this song! The original album version is my favorite, but I also like "Solitaire Club Mix" a lot! (C.S., 6/12/2008 see all my reviews >> )

5 stars for the "Solitaire" remix only -- it's nice to have a catchy, bouncy version for a change -- the other mixes seem to suck the life outta the tune (C.M., 4/17/2008 see all my reviews >> )

J.W. - Your review of the song is one thing, but your malicious comments of Donna Summer are uncalled for. The song happened to have hit #1 on Billboard Dance charts. So, there must have been lots of people playing and dancing to it! (F.B., 4/16/2008 see all my reviews >> )

THUMBS UP to this exclusive Perfect Beat release! The mix to go for here is the "Craig C Burnin Vocal Mix" with a hot latin break. The song is hot unlike some reviewers here have written. It´s a feel good keep it simple kind of song. The only mix I don´t like is the Rod Carillo one. Was he on something or what?! I´m glad to hear a song without too many gimmicks, just a good groove, thanks Donna! And I think it´s really brave to go for lesser known remixers! The attack on Donna from one reviewer is really uncalled for, shame on you! A swedish buyer (A.B., 4/16/2008 see all my reviews >> )

As the (self-professed) biggest Donna fan of all time, I am quite happy with this release. My favorite mixes are Craig C's for a more high energy mix, and Solitaire's mix is a great t-dance style mix. As is typical of just about everything she sings, the lyrics on this one are uplifting and positive and her vocal is just as strong as ever. Looking forward to a whole new CD (FINALLY) from the greatest diva of all time. DJ Mark Bisson (M.B., 4/11/2008 see all my reviews >> )

Unbelievable! I got the Craig C (friend of mine, you GO Craig!), Solitaire, and RedTop mixes on iTunes, but couldn't wait for a pressing so I could have a physical copy. Donna has ALWAYS marched to her own drum, so I'm glad she used mixers who are somewhat unknown, or "off the radar". Unless you OWN them, I don't think you can judge, based on 30 second clips. I applaud each interpretation. Support the ARTIST, and buy this limited edition pressing! (A. Rizzuto, 4/9/2008 see all my reviews >> )

Burgundy Records & Pure Tone Music have released this track as a club teaser from Donna's upcoming cd Crayons, due May 20th. Wow, the Donna Summer we all know and love is B-A-C-K!! One line from the song has Donna purring that she is a furnace, and she wants us to "come burn in me". Hot Hot Hot!! This song has definitely got her fans burning for more.....I think the best version is the original Sebastian Arocha Morton album version. Amazingly the album version seems to clock in just over 7 minutes! That is classic Donna Summer. The latin break towards the end seems to suit Donna so well. It has me saying "Yo te quiero mas" Donna. And just look at the cd cover as well as the new album cover. You can just tell Donna's creative juices are back in full swing. Can't wait to hear the whole CD and look forward to the official first single, Stamp Your Feet!! (F.B., 4/9/2008 see all my reviews >> )

Once again, Donna does what she does best. Sings a song that brings everyone to the dance floor. Leave it to her to once again to revive a stagnant dance music scene. She definitely is still the queen of the dance floor. Great song and great remixes. Something for everyone. RT (J.T., 5/29/2008 see all my reviews >> )

If you have to choose between CD1 and CD2, choose this one (CD2) because it includes the fabulous Craig C Burnin Club Mix and the Solitaire Club Mix of "I'm A Fire". Good stuff! (W.A., 4/10/2008 see all my reviews >> )

cd2 is the one to go. love the solitaire, carrillo and craig c mixes. and while rauhofer, moran and those big name people aren't on here, they were soooo 2005. NEXT! (S.L., 4/10/2008 see all my reviews >> )

Fantastic, especially the Solitaire and Craig C mixes! Love to see Donna go with less obvious choices in remixers. I find it absolutely astonishing that someone could rate this release at one star - that puts it in the same category as "Crazy Frog". Are you kidding me? (D.J., 4/10/2008 see all my reviews >> )

The best mixes on this disc are by Craig C. {Energy/Vocals} The mix by Rod C. is a bit disappointing. Rod's mix sounds like he dropped an a capella over some anonymous beats. Listen to the full R.C. mix, it could clear your floor in an instant, unless they all knew the original that well. Rod's dub is okay for transitions. This wasn't the easiest song to remix to begin with. But spin Craig's mix and they'll appear on your floor. ....I see a few filtering there now...... (PAUL MCGEE, 4/9/2008 see all my reviews >> )

I was always a fan but what has happened to the "Queen"? Donna Summer was always as good as those writing and producing her. When she surrounded herself with less, she was less. Now she is near 60 years old, the voice is not so great anymore, lot's of screeching. She always backed up her image machine with the vocals, but that train left the depot years ago. Boring lyrics, boring arrangements if you call them that. What is left but her name. I'll pass...again. (R.W., 4/21/2008 see all my reviews >> )

Although the song is a catchy tune, the Solitaire and Redtop flavors are the only memorable versions IMO. I applaud Donna on a new disc, but I cannot believe any of use will be reminiscing about this song a year from now. It's a good - not great - song with equally un-memorable remixes. (j.w., 4/17/2008 see all my reviews >> )

I kinda like the REDTOP mix on this one., but I'm still not so sure about the song...BORING! (P.I., 4/10/2008 see all my reviews >> )

I agree with the other reviewers. Donna need some circuit Djs for her songs like : TONY MORAN, OFFER NISSIM, JUNIOR VASQUEZ, HEX HECTOR, RALPHI ROSARIO, TRACY YOUNG etc.... Otherwise this remixs are boooooooooooooooooooooring! (Yecin, 5/8/2008 see all my reviews >> )

With 17 total mixes, not one captures Ms. Summer's true identity...She is and always will be HOT STUFF but she is certainly no FIRE with this tired song....It needs the "Almighty" touch of Tony Moran, Wayne G, Vasquez, Cruz or Nissim...There are other mixes out there that are getting airplay on XAM radio. Why did we get stuck with these---total waste of 20 bucks. (L.S., 4/20/2008 see all my reviews >> )

I have bought Donna Summer remixes before but this one really sux big time. The remixes aren't original nor do they add anything to the melody. This is a poor follow up to her earlier hits. Try comparing her previous remixes (the bonus cd on her greatest hits collection) and this one really becomes apparent. There are no big time remixers - i wonder why. THUMBS DOWN ! (J.W., 4/20/2008 see all my reviews >> )

This song is horrendous. I purchased it because it is Donna Summer and I've been a fan from the beginning. This song sounds like a filler that should have been completely left out. The few spanish words that she uses in this song just sound ridiculous. How can I say this, well my mother tongue is Spanish and it is just laughable. I already ordered her full lengh album and I hope it is way better than this. I'm A Fire, I'm A Furnace...come on people she is getting a free ride on her name and I really feel bad saying this but I expected more from her after 17 years. (C.P., 4/19/2008 see all my reviews >> )

This track just doesn't go anywhere. No catchy chorus, no thumpa-thumpa drive-you-crazy on the dance floor break and its...too...s...l...o...w...it just...goes...on...and...on. To nowhere. I desperately wanted to love this track, but it's just not very good. (A.D., 4/14/2008 see all my reviews >> )

I don't like any of the remixes on EITHER CD. I don't know why Donna didn't use the big mixers she has in the past-Rauhofer, Offer Nissim, Tony Moran, Hex Hector, Rosabel/Ralphi, Chris Cox. I've never even heard of any of the remixers she used here....and I hope I never heard anything from any of them again. tony has already done two great mixes for donna-"you're so beautiful" and "valley of the moon." her voice is def strong enough to keep up with tony. none of the mixes on here can keep up with her though. boooooooooring. Better luck on "Stamp Your Feet" (Joey Benitez, 4/9/2008 see all my reviews >> )
