Lovin' both the Julian Marsh and DJ JST mixes, and I quite like the Petra Boys dub. So while everybody's busy remixing Erin, couldn't somebody please remix her "Satisfied" from 1998? A lot of time is wasted re-hashing stuff that wasn't that great the first time around, but everything by Erin has always been pure gold. (r.p., 7/31/2008 see all my reviews >> )
I'm lovin this song and all of the mixes are great! Fantastic variety of remix styles on both part 1 and part 2! (R.R., 7/24/2008 see all my reviews >> )
Great mixes on this CD too. I love it when singles are like these, with many diffrent mixes to choose from. (p.s., 7/12/2008 see all my reviews >> )
I usually don't like dubs but I really enjoy the Petra Boys Dub. Manny's mix is cool (better than his dub).DJ JST scores another one with his Peak Hour Mix. The Soul Deep House Mix is like a muted version of Reflex's mix off the first release. Julian's mix sounds like every mix he did in the 90's. The rest aren't bad, but they just don't stand out. Love this song and love Erin! However, the only two mixes I like on this CD are of course Manny Lehman's & Michael T. Diamond's. I prefer CD # 1 which has great remixes by Lenny B and a great DUB mix also by Manny Lehman. (D.G., 7/11/2008 see all my reviews >> )
I think it would be fair to say that the highlight of Part 2 of this release is the excellent Michael T. Diamond Immediate Release Mix of "Control Yourself". Overall though, I still prefer the remixes on Part 1 of the release, but I did buy this single. Three and a half stars. (W.A., 7/10/2008 see all my reviews >> )
