AWESOME track complete pkgs with vocals and productions to match. Twisted Dee has scored the best mix of them all, however, IMO all mixes parts 1 & 2, can work at any given time of evening /night. The song itself is iconic and it's a shame the "crowd" of today was not born to appreciate the value this imposes as a rerelease. Who can top it? Sure it's Big Room Diva and it's ALL that. Bill played a mix last weekend that is not on this CD. It was off the hook. I hope this mix is on Part 2. (tony, 7/21/2008 see all my reviews >> )
I love Suzanne Palmer...love these remixes... (l. lew, 7/19/2008 see all my reviews >> )
This has probably been one of the most talked about tracks this summer. I am a huge fan of Suzanne and Bill's and I was worried about this one. I was not impressed by the Edson Pride teaser mix but Bill has turned this one out. His video mix is flawless and the Luis Erre Mixes are great as well. where is Jose Spinnin and Klubjumpers? Cannot wait for the video! (tony, 7/17/2008 see all my reviews >> )
I'm a huge Suzanne Palmer fan; I've seen her perform twice. And it's weird b/c I've always been drawn to the song "Fame", so when I heard she was doing this, I got super excited. I heard Ranny's remix on his myspace profile and fell in love with it, and then later heard the Edson Pride mix which didn't do much for me. I can't wait to hear the rest of the mixes. Suzanne is truly a vocal talent like no other! (R.R., 7/17/2008 see all my reviews >> )
Not a big fan of these types of covers... but the Bryan Reyes Fame-Ous works the floor the best. Love the strong synths and energy behind it without overdoing it. (R.T., 7/20/2008 see all my reviews >> )
The first three mixes on the tracklisting are the best ones. I prefer Twisted Dee's NYC School For The Arts Peak Mix of "Fame", as it has more of a Big Room sound. Highly recommended!!!

'Suzanne Palmer' and 'Fame', OK it can't get any GAYer than this!! Totally works for my dance floor!! -- DJ X. (P.H., 7/17/2008 see all my reviews >> )
No doubt “Fame” will live forever, but this cover may have a shorter shelf life. Although enough to bring kids aboard for a sing along, there is nothing uniquely special about this rendition or Suzanne’s uninspired vocals. Her “Fascinated” cover had (a little) more punch than this. For more fun, dust off your JJ cover from 1999 on Waako Records. Mixes borrowed liberally from Rauhofer’s “Strong Enough” bass line and can hold its own today’s floor. (T.C., 8/31/2008 see all my reviews >> )
Other than the Bennett and Masitti Video Mix, the rest of the guys drown out Suzanne's vocal---Especially Ranny's mess of a mix. No thanks. 3 stars for Bill & Suzanne. (scottyB, 7/19/2008 see all my reviews >> )
WARNING, for GAY dance crowd only:-) (P.I., 7/17/2008 see all my reviews >> )
Although I prefer Suzanne Palmer when she sang to the project The Absolute this cover can lift up any dance floor straight or gay. NO doubt the best mix Edson Pride!!! Since it is NOT in part 1 I give 2 stars for DJ Bryan effort! (W.W., 7/26/2008 see all my reviews >> )
All of the remixes cover the same ground. Big Room Tribal Anthems. I can barely tell them apart. Some of the remixes even incorporate elements of the original 1983 version. I was hoping the 'remix' would be a different take on the material, but its very predictable and plain. For someone like myself who doesn't play a majority of diva anthems (the kids call it "Drag Queen Music" round here), I can't play it.
I hope part 2 has more variety, but 1 star for part one. (E.T., 7/19/2008 see all my reviews >> )
