This is CD 1 of the remix package and when I got it I was instantly addicted to the super perfection of the booming RALPHI ROSARIO remix. Ralphi Rosario works so well with Donna Summer's amazing vocals & turned the song into a monster of an anthem! Funny, my favorite remix is the Ralphi Rosario Dub mix. Scorching! You also get a very well done Extended Ultimix on here which is rare these days! Buy it, I totally recommend it! (Ermanno D., 3/10/2009 see all my reviews >> )

Greatness!! The cd version is awesome anyway, but then there's the Extended Album Version and that rocks as well. Would have loved to have a dancier version with the rock element in it, but I'm good with what's here. Ralphi's mixes are wonderful. I'm not a fan of the vocal vocoder, but, hey, it still sounds good. I think these mixes as well as what's on CD2 will be stomping at the clubs and Donna will have her 3rd dance hit before the year ends...hopefully. (J.K., 11/20/2008 see all my reviews >> )
the remix is not that bad....
its going to be hit at the circuit parties (Ken N., 11/20/2008 see all my reviews >> )
Great song and it's really a shame that if you want both Ralphi and Dave Aude you have to buy 2 cds. These easily could have been put on 1 cd. Having said that, I'll wait until my Promo Only comes out for January and see which one is on that, THEN I'll pick up the other as a single. I'm not going to be forced to buy 2 cds when obviously this should have been just 1. (D.B., 11/22/2008 see all my reviews >> )
Love Donna Summer... The Ralphi Rosario Club saves this song! -- DJ X. (P.H., 11/20/2008 see all my reviews >> )
This is a catchy song, and Donna is showing us with this release why she is here to stay. This should have been the first release off of Crayons. As far as the remix work, while I think Ralphi did a good job on the regular mix, he absolutely blew the roof off with a stellar dub. Nice work! I'm enjoying this more than Dave Aude's downtempo mixes on the other release. (B.S., 11/19/2008 see all my reviews >> )
Really this boils down to Ralphi Rosario and Donna Summer, two names I cannot pass by, and Ralphi's remix really is a hot groove. Unfortunately, I just can't get into this song very much, mostly because of the vocoder effect, which just seems really tired out here in 2009. A remix of "It's Only Love," one of the more danceable songs from the european edition of Crayons, would be wonderful, but given its status as a bonus track, it is probably going to be overlooked. I can't get into this song. It's not that bad but compare this to any of the Donna Summer classics. Cyndi Lauper and Madonna have released really memorable music this year (for me at least). I am a little disappointed in Donna Summer but this is better than nothing. (R.R., 12/10/2008 see all my reviews >> )
I appreciate the effort on the part of Perfect Beat to bring out these singles, but I have to agree with others here that having this as a 2-disc release seems completely unnecessary. If Kristine W can release a 13-track single, including edits and full mixes, Donna Summer could certainly have done the same. Things like this are why digital music downloads are winning the fight. You can spend $2 instead of $20 to get what you really want. And really, what is the flippin' point of a Donna Summer "instrumental"? Don't we love Donna because of that glorious voice? Glad to see Donna still releasing new tunes, but these singles from "Crayons" have really not been doing it for me. She needs to seek out some better producers. I enjoyed "Stamp Your Feet," but this is back to *meh* for me. (M.G., 11/26/2008 see all my reviews >> )
