Andy Bell, the voice and fabulous aesthetic behind international dance sensation Erasure, teams up with vocalist In_Vox to create a bubbly "love finally found" tune that sounds, well, like everything else Erasure ever did. But ya know, if it ain't broke, just leave it be and don't bother the IKEA tool set in the closet that hasn't been touched since your sister last came over and put togehter that bed stand for you (sure it was practically pre-assembled, but the screwdriver looked dangerous to your manicure and reinforcements were necessary). One of the first openly gay singer/songwriters from the beginning of his career, Andy Bell's delicate falsetto and radical fashion styling, not to mention the drag, earned him an instant place in the heart of the World of Queerness, and while not always the most successful in the commercial category, Erasure was always a minority favorite. Both mixes, by Chris "The Greek" Panaghi (who collaborated with Richie Jones to craft the best remix ever of Celine Dion's "A New Day Has Come" a few years back) and Marsheaux, sound pretty much the same. Chris uses a heavier beat than Marsheaux, who 80s it up enough to make you miss legwarmers, but both build off the foundation of the synthy keyboards to produce similarly exuberant club rubs. In house ballad and retro mixes are included as well, so if you've been hurting for new Erasure, this one's gonna take you right back, way back. Also, these discs (direct from Greece) are limited edition and individually numbered, so get 'em while you can cuz these likely won't be available ever again. That also means no smart ideas of ordering 10 copies and selling 'em on e-bay for $40 a pop! We're on to you ;-)~
