I met James Roy a couple of years ago and let me tell you, he is extremely talented and a really nice guy.
The album is simply AMAZING!

 James Roy (J.R. Greengrass), an electrical engineer turned composer and singer, entered the dance music scene in 2004, with the release of his debut EP, "Don't Let Me Go", having written his first song only a year or so earlier. Since then, he has released another EP, called "Rise Above", and his new album, "Begin", which includes tracks from both EPs. The album features high-energy songs with powerful lyrics, and moods ranging from dark and edgy to happy and upbeat. My personal favourite is "Tonight I Dream". This album is a bit different from the usual fare here at Perfect Beat, but, nonetheless, is well worth a listen. (W.A., 1/25/2007 see all my reviews >> )
