Buy This CD .....For The Killer Track MY LIFE-Zelma Davis(Singer of C & C Music Factory!!!)She Is Amazing and Turns Out A Stellar Performance with Deep Influence. One Of The Top Anthems of This Year!!! marco (m.c., 10/26/2007 see all my reviews >> )

In my opinion, tracks 5,6 & 7 are the best ones on the cd. Not all cd's can be 100% good, but they can at least have a couple good songs!! (o.a., 10/28/2007 see all my reviews >> )

I'm not sure if A.Y. listened to ALL of tracks on this release. The first 5 tracks are OUTSTANDING, and are the farthest thing from 'boring tribal'. This is PEAK HOUR circuit dance music, and the first time that all of these tracks have been featured on a comp. THE BIGGEST JEWEL HERE IS THE FIRST TRACK "IT'S MY LIFE" by Zelma Davis (former C&C Music Factory vocalist on some track---sans Martha Wash). On this track, one of my favorite producers, Deep Influence, blows the roof off with his fierce remix. This song hasn't even been releaased as a single or on promo. Next, is the hot mix of "Activate My Body" that has been massive on PB and in the clubs the last month or so. DJ Escape really works it out here. While I prefer the Scotty K mix of Debby Holiday's "Piece of My Love", the energy is kept with the inclusion of the Solar City Mix. And, both the Taxi Doll and Dave Aude (Feat. Jessica Sutta) tracks get fantastic treatments from Glen Friscia and Ralphi Rosario, respectively. After that, things adminittedly get a bit darker, less vocally, and more monotnous. I think Stephen Seidita's original mix of "Doom" would have been better to include because, while darker, it's still catchy as hell. The inclusion of the songs on the second half of this CD is unfortunate. (B.S., 10/25/2007 see all my reviews >> )

I respect A.Y. opinion, but think we will just have to agree to disagree on this release. Deep Influence gives the Zelma track plenty of NRG---it's a scorcher with this fierce beat and buzzing synths. The other remixers you mentioned, the Brazilian team Arenna being one, could also have done nice work with this track too. I think a few years back Tony Moran and Warren Rigg could have knocked it out of the park with a Zelma track, but not so much these days. Their productions are too "safe" and mainstream now. They have a winning formula for sure for the circuit masses, but it's no longer as much fun. Ironically, some of Tony's strongest collaborations have been with Deep Influence. Regarding Ralphi's mix of Jess's song, I'd like to know what you don't like about it (instead of just "no comment") For the record, I confirmed and Roland Belmares mixed all the tracks up to and including "Doom". As much as I like some of Mike Cruz's production work, he really sucked the life out of this release with his monotnous tracks, and killed the great peak hour vibe that Roland started. It just didn't work putting 2 different DJs on a single release comp. Even though I still personally prefer Roland's track selection, I still Mike Cruz's selections could have worked fine on a Disc 2 here. Finally, I agree with A.Y. that Roland's OMW CD kicked a** with all the exclusives, track order, and great mixing. (B.S., 10/25/2007 see all my reviews >> )

If you like boring tribal songs, buy it..... (Yecin, 10/25/2007 see all my reviews >> )

I agree with B.S., but this is not the first 5 tracks are outstanding, but the first 3 tracks, and "Sheldon Romeo Featuring Betty Brooklyn - Dirty Things" is good... For the first track, I think if this song will be remixed with some "ENERGY", not like tribal mix like Deep Influence or Dj Paulo, but like Moran/Rigg, Ander Staning, Arenna, Junior etc... I will really love this song ;-) For Dave Aude song: Ralphi Rosario is a GREAT Dj, but this remixe.....uuuuh...no comment.... And Taxi Doll track, she have a HORRIBLE voice and her song is boring like the other songs on this album. "One Mighty Weekend Volume 2" mixed By Roland Belmares too was REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAlLY better ! This is my opinon :-) If you like a bit of "peak hour anthem" and a lot of "monotnous tribal boring song" BUY IT NOW !!! :-D (Yecin, 10/25/2007 see all my reviews >> )
