Roland..Great work. A CD worth writing about. A DJ worth his weight in gold! Roland after a few rocky years has now found his calling with manager/boyfriend Ken Harwood to handle business relations. Roland can concentrate on his music.
The Los Angeles circuit is one of the most competitive for DJs in the world. Roland is most likely the hottest and most talented DJ in Los Angeles and in Southern California for that matter.
Roland this CD is a great piece to add to your collection. Keep up the great work.

Great CD. Roland keeps the party going from beginning to end on this one. He starts it off with the classic rant "Superwoman" which gets you in the mood to go deep into the party with him. The next few songs are just awesome club stompers which I'm sure we'll be hearing a lot of in the months to come. Max Linen, Robbie Rivera, Drive ft. Marvel, Alan T and the phenomenal mix of "I Believe" which has a great twist to it in the beginning and end. He then takes us down the path of not so well known light-hearted versions of songs that we know and love and ends it with the amazing anthem of Sherrie Lea's "Anyway." I'll keep this in the player for months to come. (J.W., 3/26/2003 see all my reviews >> )
Werk Roland! I had a terrible vacation while in Florida and I didn't even get a chance to enjoy South Beach like I wanted to and that included hearing Roland spin live. Just when I thought I was out of luck I see Roland himself pulling these babies out of the box! He even included "Superwoman" and "The Music Lifts Me Up", two of my personal favorites! I highly recommend anything that Roland pumps out, he always seems to know what to play and how to mix it together and, get the boys out on the dancefloor(which in my case is in the car!). Highly recommended material. (S.L., 3/25/2003 see all my reviews >> )
Just one question - why did the incredible Winter Party CD's become a one DJ one disc set? Not taking anything away from Roland but the Winter Party series has been nothing but spectacular with 2 DJ's going at it.
1998 - Julian Marsh (ok by himself but it was the original and a 2-disc set)
1999 - Julian Marsh/Tony Moran
2000 - Monty Q/Tony Moran
2001- Warren Gluck / Tracey Young
2002 - Manny Lehman /Lydia Prim
and now 2003 a one disc set by Roland to have me remember the weekend by? Not enuf!
I'm giving it 3 stars simply because it's seems it's only half a set. (R.L., 2/24/2004 see all my reviews >> )
