 Liquid 360's faux-Erasure sound has 80s-nostagia appeal, although it's not a cover. The Middle Eastern touch is nice and it's a strong melody. The Arabian Night club mix has the right new-NRG touch for this. (c.t., 8/10/2006 see all my reviews >> )
There is something nice about the Egyptian and Arabian sound they use to make me hit the dancefloor(see Lauren Hildebrandt-Burnin' Out). Normally their mixes are a bit too fast for my liking but I've enjoyed what I got from this immensely. (J.S., 8/4/2006 see all my reviews >> )
I really want to like this record, but I am not there yet. Maybe it will grow on me with repeated listenings, or maybe it won't. At times, some of the vocals seem a bit off to me. Also, some of the mixes seem a little over blown, and, overall, the production sounds quite dated. This isn't nearly as good as I had hoped it would be. (W.A., 7/20/2006 see all my reviews >> )
