New Jason Walker.: We were thrilled when we got the call from Jason that he wanted Perfect Beat to be the first place his new CD single was featured.
Leave It All Behind is going to be another hit for Jason following in the footsteps of his 6 previous Billboard Top 10 anthems. This 11 track remix EP includes mixes by Chad Jack, Joe Caranno, Quentin Harris and Jeeve. Jason delivers an outstanding vocal performance on this floor filler and is equally as infectious as his debut release in 2004, ‘My Life.’ Jason’s new full length will be here is the next few weeks and we’ve been told it will be more of a pop, acoustic, and soul record with the exception of 2 "danceable" tracks. We can’t wait to hear the full album, he’s always been one of our favorite male vocalists. For now, this single will have to satisfy our hunger.

Lady Gaga x2: You’d think if we had something new from our gal Lady Gaga it’d be the big feature this week…let alone TWO new releases from her. Sadly for you experienced Perfect Beat shoppers you’ll know there isn’t much new here. First up is the US edition of
The Remix which only contains 10 tracks unlike the special
Canadian Edition we have been selling for months now, which contains 17 remixes. All 10 re-works on the US edition are in fact on the Canadian Edition so if you already have the special pressing from our Northern friends, then there really is no need to pick up this new version. Or course if you’re looking for the best of the best and you’re on a budget, this is a safe bet. Either way, a remix CD from Gaga is essential for any Dance Music fan! The other goodie from Gaga that we were a tad more excited about is the striped down release
The Cherrytree Sessions. A simple 3 track release featuring simplified versions of ‘Just Dance’, ‘Eh Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)’ and ‘Poker Face’. Best part is the price, only $3.99! A fun simple release from Gaga every boy (and girl) should have. Speaking of Gaga, here’s a riddle. How do you wake Gaga up in the morning? You poke her face. Oh, it’s been a long day.
