The First 2010 Clearance Sale Is On!
Clearance Sale: We will not be updating the site this week because of the limited new releases. Instead we are offering the first clearance sale of 2010. Over 600 titles up for grabs at crazy low prices. CD singles as low as .99 and full lengths as low as $3.99. Tons of stuff NEVER offered at sale prices before. We will run this clearance sale until 11:59pm, Wednesday, February 10, 2010. To get to the complete list, click the banner above or simply Click Here. We have incorporated all the titles from the Let’s Hear It For The Boy sale we had, but if you want to just get to that sale list, Click Here. Maybe a sad week for new releases, but a great week to save some money. Remember, all domestic orders over $50 will receive FREE shipping. Also please keep in mind US orders containing mostly sale items will be shipped via Media Mail meaning it could take a few extra days to receive. International orders will be shipped normal First Class via your local post.
Another Slow Week: It’s not our fault, really. Over the last two years now we have noticed each week gets slower and slower when it comes to new releases in the Dance Music genre. We spend hours each day trying to track down music from around the globe to bring to you guys, but it is getting harder and harder. We are continuing to pressure indie artists and labels to press up CDs for our loyal customer base. But sadly, it’s becoming less and less cost effective for them to do it. Because of the decline in new releases with each passing week, we have been working on ways to keep the excitement going on the site. Very soon an email will be coming announcing ‘Perfect Beat Extended’ which will increase our inventory catalog from 30,000 to well over 300,000. Perfect Beat Super-Sized! We have also opened the doors with several smaller suppliers from around the world to get us product that is not easily obtainable. This plus all the help you guys have given us promoting the site on your own website, facebook pages, myspace etc… will ensure a big 2010! If you haven’t spread the word about Perfect Beat, what are you waiting for? Blogging about it, posting a link on your website, ‘sharing’ pages from our site to your Facebook page, are all excellent ways to spread the word. If we continue to all work together we can remain the number one site for Dance Music fans who still want physical product!
IDMA Nominations: Maybe things are not as bad as we think as once again PerfectBeat.com has been nominated in the ‘Best Specialty Retailer’ category for an International Dance Music Award. These awards are handed out in Miami at the Winter Music conference and the votes are cast by the general public! That means that YOU can vote! Simply go to the IDMA Ballot and cast your vote. You can vote on your favorite song, remixer, radio station etc, and you are not required to vote in every category. If all you want to do is vote for us, just scroll down to #37 and select PerfectBeat.com and submit. It’s a huge honor to be nominated as the nominees themselves have been selected by the general public though a special Nominations Ballot. Let’s finish the job and bring the prize home this year! You must get your vote in by Friday, February 26, 2010. Thanks guys!
Win a $50 Gift Certificate: Last week we started a new contest to give 1 lucky customer a $50 gift certificate! The winner of our first $50 prize was K. Schmitt from Germany. It was such a big success and we got lots of praise for doing it that we’re going to do it again this week… here’s the deal. We have set the site to pick a random order number at 12:01am Sunday night / Monday morning. So ALL orders placed up until 11:59pm Sunday night will be eligible. But here is the catch. The customer must have in the comments section of their order the text ‘Contest Entry.’ Once the system generates the random order, we will verify that order has in the comments section ‘Contest Entry.’ If it does, game over and that customer is the winner. If it doesn’t, we will have the system select another random order number. We will continue to validate the orders until one does in fact contain the words ‘Contest Entry’ in the comments section. We will notify the customer Monday morning and we will announce it in our next email. Only one entry per customer and remember, your order must contain ‘Contest Entry’ in the comments section and your order must be received by 11:59pm Sunday night February 7, 2010. GOOD LUCK!
